Doors built outside catalogue sizes, where the opening dictates the door.
Non-standard means the opening is not a stock size. Rather than force a standard leaf and fill the gap, the door is built to the measurement. This is normal on renovation work, older buildings and anything with an arched or oversized opening.
What to check before you order
- Fire rating. The rating applies to the complete assembly — leaf, frame, hardware and seals. A rated leaf in an unrated frame does not carry the rating.
- Material and finish. The finish determines how the door looks in five years as much as how it looks on delivery. Stainless and fluorocarbon finishes hold up where painted steel does not.
Price and ordering
This model is made to order and is quoted rather than sold from stock. Send us the opening width × height, the wall thickness, the quantity and the site location, and we will come back with a price and a lead time. Freight across Canada is quoted with the order.
