Explosion-rated doors are specified where a pressure wave is a design case, such as process buildings, battery rooms and fuel storage. The rating covers the leaf, the frame and the way the frame is anchored into the wall.
What to check before you order
- Material and finish. The finish determines how the door looks in five years as much as how it looks on delivery. Stainless and fluorocarbon finishes hold up where painted steel does not.
